Cutting-edge technologies

The Plasma Blast Machine (PBM) is one of the flagship technology development projects of Sormak Mines Company, jointly developed in collaboration with Sam Hi-Tech Knowledge-Based Company. The technology has been designed to provide a safe, controllable, and environmentally friendly alternative to conventional blasting methods for rock excavation and ore extraction. The system is currently in operational use at Sormak's Ahangaran Mine, where its performance has been successfully demonstrated under real mining conditions.

Established in 1972, Sormak Mines Company is one of Iran’s longest-standing and most experienced mining and mineral processing companies. The company commenced its operations with lead ore extraction from the Ahangaran Mine in Malayer and has since expanded its activities across the entire mining value chain, including mineral exploration, mining, mineral processing, production, and international trade.
